Welcome to Equine Canine Chiropractic Care

Incorporating Animal Chiropractic into my existing practice was an easy decision. Over the years, I have been greatly rewarded by witnessing the benefits that Chiropractic Care has provided for my human patients. Until recently, good training was not available to prepare me for the transition from treating humans to treating animals. I had read about using mallets and/or 2X4 boards to make an adjustment on a horse or dog, and it seemed more like punishment to the animal than the expected relief of pain. I could just imagine the expression on my human patients' faces if I were to meet them with a mallet in hand! Early in 2004 I was introduced to an Animal Chiropractic course put on by the AVCA. This is an intense 220-hour course taught by Veterinarians and Chiropractors on the science of animal adjusting.
